About

My name is Tom Holleran and I am a sculptor in Milwaukee, known for portraits in bronze.

My best known works are full size standing figures. 

The “Crusher” statue in South Milwaukee, holding a barrel of beer on his shoulder grimacing. Twelve thousand people showed up for the unveiling.

And then there is my depiction of Clif Tufte, the founder of Road America Speedway in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, with his hat cocked, his arms crossed keeping an eye on the track.

I have also done many busts and reliefs of notable people. 

I tirelessly try to capture the personalities of my subjects, their expression and stance.

Having sculpted pewter collector plates for Harley-Davidson, I went to work in a bronze sculpting studio for 23 years. Designing, sculpting, mold making, wax work and metal finishing, and how it all works together to make something remarkable.
